I discovered wool fairies almost five years ago, just after my daughter was born... I fell in love with them! So soft to touch, sort of whimsical and magical... they created a deep impression on me and I bought one as a gift for my mum... I also put it on my list of things I wanted to learn how to do! So through a combination of books and online tutorials, I got to work and have loved every minute of creating them... they are so totally gorgeous!
I use different types of naturally dyed wool to craft these beautiful hanging fairies, angels, mermaids and witches... I can make them to reflect the seasons or a theme, and I can custom - make them to your wishes, or you can simply tell me the colours you like and I will do the rest - I am happy to work with you on the details as much or as little as you would like! I often include a little hanging charm or scroll for special messages, and each one is finished with beautiful buttons, gems or decorations of choice...
I put A LOT of LOVE and time into these beautiful beings... prices for commissions and ready made fairies will vary to reflect the specific nature of each one. As a rough guide though, I have charged £10 and under for small ready-made fairies at market, and between £12.50-£15.50 for larger sized, made to order pieces, and again the price will reflect embelishments and the time involved.
